At Magnus Craft we believe boating should be enjoyed with respect for the environment, and we are committed to minimizing the impact of our boats on the environment.
We have used the latest in technology to develop boats that are very light for their size, yet extremely strong. The hull designs are extremely efficient, therefore are able to use smaller engines, which require less fuel, which again reduces weight and improves performance and efficiency.
The engines we install are amongst the lightest in their class, and with the use of the latest in digital electronic controls and high pressure common rail injection technology, are able to surpass current environmental emission standards. The end result is reduced fuel consumption and reduced exhaust emissions, without compromising performance.
In many of our boats, we use waterjet propulsion, which reduces drag and improves efficiency at high speeds. The waterjets also reduce the chance of injury to marine life, and reduces damage to the delicate seabed when operating in shallow water.
We fit our boats with some of the best low power consumption equipment, including the latest LED lighting. Our boats can be enjoyed at rest without the disturbance or environmental impact of a generator.
Our production facilities and offices are optimized to reduce their environmental impact. Our factories are designed to take advantage of natural breezes and ambient lighting, to minimise the use of artificial lighting and cooling.
Our boats are produced using closed resin infusion techniques, which minimizes the release of plastic vapours into the environment.
